In continuation of my despatch No.263 of 23rd
May, 1927, on the subject of the revised arrangements for
the selection and training of candidates for survey
appointments, I have the honour to enclose a note on the conditions of the survey appointments of this Colony and to request that the information may be inserted in Memorandun
Miscellaneous No.225 when next revised.
A statement in tabular form of the
establishment of the Survey Department is also enclosed for
insertion on page 8 of the Memorandum.
