Gubbay, General Manager of the P. & 0.

Banking Corporation, on the subject of

the premium on Bank Notes as compared with

silver dollars in Hong Kong. The

enclosures to Mr. Gubbay's letter were

a memorandum by Mr. L.E.Hopkins, Manager

of the P. & 0. Banking Corporation at

Hong Kong, and a reply from the Colonial

Secretary's Office signed by Mr. E.W,

Hamilton and dated the 10th January, 1927.
