I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt

of your despatch No.88 of 6th April, 1927, regarding the forfeiture of pension on imprisonment and to enclose copies of the Pension Minute and Police Pension Regulations amended

in accordance with your instructions.

2.

The amendment has not been given retrospective

o effect as there is no case on record of a pensioner being

sentenced to imprisonment without hard labour for a term

exceeding 12 months.
