4. It ill be necessary for you to express your
acceptance of the conditions stated in this letter
before your selection can be completed. In other respects you will be subject to the General Orders issued from time to time by the Colonial Govemment
and to the Colonial Regulations in force for the time
being. The Colonial Regulations are at present being revised. A copy of the revised edition will be
supplied to you in due course. The appointment is
under the Colonial Government and your emoluments
will be paid from the funds of the Colony.
5. If you are prepared to accept the appoint-
ment on these conditions, you should present yourself
to one of the Medical Advisera whose names are given
on the enclosed letter, for the purpose of being
medically examined. The letter is to be left with
the Medical Adviser and he will send his report
direct to this Department. His fee will be paid by
the Government, and if it is necessary for you to
travel by rail for the purcose of the examination
your return fare (3rd class) will be refunded to you on your informing this Department of the amount.
