(h) To take note that the Chief of the
Imperial General Staff would ask the Secretary of
State for War to bring before the Committee of
Imperial Defence in due course proposals in regard
to the recommendation of the Chiefs of Staff Sub-
Committee in favour of a strategic military
reserve in the Far East.
(1) That the Cabinet should hold themselves in
readiness to meet at short notice during the next few
days if Sir Miles Lampson's reports of Mr. O'Melley's
conversations should render a meeting desirable.
