CHINA

Weekly

Summary furnished by

the Foreign Office.

1. On the suggestion of the Secretary

of State for Foreign Affairs, the Cabinet

agreed :

That, in view of the very full

information circulated daily by the

Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs

in the form of telegrams, despatches,

etc., in regard to events in China, it

was unnecessary, from the point of view

of the Cabinet, that the appropriate

department of the Foreign Office (which

is very fully occupied at the present

time) should be burdened with the work of

continuing the weekly summary on China.
