for the Colonies to the Governor of Hong Kong.

Your tele-ren 11 January. Before
proposals as to aerodrome are considered I should
be glad to know what are best tems on which option
for acquiring land could be obtained, as I am very
doubtful whether Colony would be justified in
present financial circumstances in borrowing money
for the purchase and reclamation.
It is now
decided that Establishment of aerodrome is allowable
under Sashington Treaty.
