July, 1927, and in reply to transmit copy of a letter
(with enclosure) from the Colonial Auditor dated 3rd

instructions contained in your despatch No.431 of 26th
November, 1925, have been carried into effect. I regret
that the necessity of furnishing this report immediately

Sir,
I have the honour to forward for the
information of His Excellency The Governor, a copy of my letter No.18/32 of the 25th April, 1927, to
the Director of Colonial Audit on the subject of
Exchange Transactions.
2.
The necessary adjustments to put into
effect the ruling of the Secretary of State
contained in his Despatch No431 of the 26th of
November 1925, have necessitated considerable
investigation. I am, however, leased to be in
a position to report that the adjustments submitted
by this department have been accepted by the
Honourable Colonial Treasurer as correct and have
been co-ordinated in the final accounts for the
financial year 1926.
