6. while in the Colony you would
receive a Conveyance Allowance at the
rate of $300 a year.
In the event of your death while
in the service of the Hong Kong
Go vern-
ment a gratuity equal to one year's
pensionable emoluments of your appoint-
ment under the Board of Trade would be
paid from
Hong Kong funds to your
legal personal representative.

During the period of your second-
ment you would be in the service of the
Hong Kong Government and would be subject
to the Colonial Regulations and to the
General Orders issued from time to time
by the Colonial Government, so far as they
may be applicable. The Colonial Regulations
are at present under revision, but the
current edition, as well as the General
Orders at present in force, can be inspected
in this Department.
9. If you are prepared to accept this
employment on these conditions, you should
present
