The Commonwealth Government have replied that these
certificates will continue to receive recognition in
Australia as suggested.
I am to add that the revised edition of the
"Instructions as to Survey of Passenger Steamships" is
not quite ready for publication but copies will be
forwarded for transmission to Hong Kong at as early a
date as possible.
