15th August, 1927.

sir,

The Portuguese Government, being aware of the

fact that in Hong Kong ten cases of raw opium from

India are left over each month, has instructed me

to state that it would greatly esteem it if His

Britannic Majesty's Government would authorize the

Governor of Hong Kong to supply the said ten cases

to Macau monthly.

My Government hopes that this request will be

favourably considered by His Majesty's Government.

I have, etc.
