In reply to Mr. Flint's letter of the 16th
instant (M.3751/26), I am directed by the Lords
Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury to request you
to inform the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty that
They sanction the proposal to accept the amount of 876
dollars 45 cents offered by the Hong Kong Government
in settlement of the claim preferred against that
Government by the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty
for a share of the cost of Naval Officers and crew of
S.S."TUNG ON"
