With reference to your letter of the 4th

instant (30018/27), relative to the contribution from

Imper ial funds towards the maintenance of the Hongkong-

Canton steamship service, I am directed by Secretary

Sir Austen Chamberlain to inform you that the sum of

three

11 three thousand, three hundred and seventeen pounds,

shillings and eleven pence, being the sterling equivalent

of thirty two thousand, six hundred and sixty one dollars,

sixty one cents, has been transferred to credit of the

Crown Agents for the Colonies.

concerned and forwarded to this department for audit
