Funds. Before the Board can be

established it will, of course, be

necessary to obtain the authority of

Parliament by means of a Bill, and the

introduction of a Bill has been déferred

until the situation in China becomes

clearer.

University's hopes of assistance lie in

making application to the Board of

Trustees when established; that the

establishment of the Board is dependent

upon the passing of an Act of Parliament;

and that the anarchy in China has so

far prevented the introduction of a Bill.
