With reference to your despatch

No.408 of the 16th of July in which you ask

to be furnished with information in regard to

the disposal of the British share of the Boxer

Indemnity, I have etc. to transmit to you a

copy of the Report of the China. Indemnity

Advisory Committee appointed under the China

Indemnity Application) Act 1925 from which it

will be seen that it is intended to establish

a Board of Trustees in China to administer the

Indemnity funds.

Before a Board of Trustees can be

established it will be necessary to obtain the
