TELEGRAM
From the Governor of Hong Kong to the Secretary of State
for the Colonies.
Dated 25th March 1927.
(Received Colonial Office 5.30 a.m. 25th March, 1927)
My telegram of 17th March General trade situation.
unaltered. Official Measurers return of exports of
Chinese produce from Hong Kong to Great Britain and
Europe for period January 1st to March 14th compared
fairly favourably with the same period of 1925. General
insecurity of life and property in interior and latest
menace of practical Bolshevism is causing influx
of Chinese into Colony. Unnumberd telegram of 24th.
