to the military Committee who will also look after
all sanitary work, and the Generalissimo will only
be responsible for direction of operations, and by
such a distribution of military power, it will be
easier for us to deal with the situation. Thus all
of you will be able to understand the rumours that
lately have been persistent that I have been a Dictator,
and also to realize the overwhelming responsibilities
I have shouldered.
(4) To wake up the masses and to support the peasants and
workmen. Our revolutionary armies have gone forward
with the revolution in order to benefit the masses,
and therefore we should every where give due regard
to matters which will be advantageous to them. As
peasants and workmen constitute the major portion of
the people, we should show specially greater sympathy
with them. Those whom we want to overthrow are the
unemployed rascals, local bandits and banes of the
peasants and workmen who have been bought and made
tools of by the Communists. We want to overthrow them
in order to give our bona-fide peasants and workmen an
opportunity to prosper and to have their own organisation. We should by no means made the mistake of opposing
organisations of the peasants and workmen but we should
help them at all times. We should all know that in our anti-Communist movement we are not opposing the peasants and workmen. We have been warmly welcomed everywhere
by the peasants and workmen since the outbreak of the
war, and these are the good results of working for the good of the masses. Nobody who works to injure the people is qualified to be a national revolutionary
soldier.
