may happen to your life.

Secondly none of those in power has been in

any way able to penetrate the crafty and cunning tricks

of the Communists. They serve then more attentively

than a filial son or a dutiful grandson would do his

parents, and their words are specious and flattering.

When they have lightly and softly put on your head the

tall hat of the Left Winger you would think that you

are capable of the control of anything, however serious

it may be.

Thirdly, the Communists are not the same as

they were a year ago. Lr. Wong has been absent from

our nation for a year, and all he knows is that there

is still a Communist Party. For ill-health he had

a stay of 30 days in Europe, during which he took a

tour to Moscow and had an interview with all the well-

known Revolutionaries whom he had long admireed, and

spent half a month in a Russian train and on board a

Russian steamer, which took him back. Further he is still

observed with the idea which originated with our late

president of alliance with Russia and of admitting the

Communists into our Party. Why then should he listen

to the words of a few of his old and useless friends

in Shanghai and suddenly turn right out of his course?

No one could be expected to do this. Let alone Mr.

Wong whose confidence in his own judgment is more than

complete.

On the morning of the 6th Li Shek Tsang, on
