(c) Damage to the United Front of our National Revolution.
We know that China is in the position of a semi-colony
and that we can only secure a path of existence by unifying
all classes to promote our National Revolution. But the
Communists advocate class warfare to the extreme, maintaining
that all classes should be hostile to and attack one
another. Let us consider this carefully. We are now in a
helpless sinking boat. Should there be any disagreement
between us, which might lead to a collision, we must be
careful of the main position, otherwise the boat will be
upset and we shall all be drowned. After all the Communists
do not like our National Revolution and therefore they want
to destroy it. If they succeed in so doing, they will not
in any way suffer for it, but we shall be subject to the misery of being conquered subjects under the yoke of
Imperialism.
(d) Destruction of our Northern Expedition.
Their actions in this direction have been very
manifest. Chan Tuk Shau has issued many publications against
our Northern Expedition, and Borodin has proposed the
postponement of our attack on Chekiang, but we must know
what our position will be, if we do not make any Northern
Expedition or if we fail in it. We shall have no interests
except the pleasure of being subject to the oppression and massacre of the wicked militarists in the North. Are we
willing to have such a pleasure? But the Communists insist
that we have it.
(e) Usurpation of the Central Government.
The Central Government at Wuhan has been entirely
usurped by the Communists and their running dogs. Such a
piratical action can in no way benefit you. The miserable
cries of the peasants in Hunan and Hupeh, reaching up to the
sky, will prove it to you.
