Notice issued by LO, Second-in-Command of a

Regiment, on the 22nd April, 1927.

103

Whereas of late there are ill-disposed persons

who intend to disturb the peace and good order in the

rear of the Northern Expeditionary Army. As I have now

深圳

received instructions to protect Sham Chun, I therefore

hope that my farmers and labourers will join together to

34. maintain the success of our late President Sun's Revolution

and bring into effect his three doctrines principles. Now,

**

a meeting against our Commander-in-Chief Chang has lately

武漢

徐謙 been held at Mo Hon by the Communists, Borodin, Tsui Him & 鄧達

Tang Yin Tat, who have circulated rumours so as to create

disturbances in the rear of our Army, saying that the Govern-

ment is going to break up all the Labour Unions and disarm

the "Farmers Army", this so as to influence the farmers

and labourers to resist the Nationalist Government. By

so doing they hope to benefit the Communists and to

ruin the success of the Revolution of the Nationalist

Government.

I hope that my farmers and labourers will

not fall into any secret plan which will cause them to

kill each other. They should obey the orders of the

Kuomintang in order to succeed in the aims of our late

President Sun and effect the liberty of the people.

To overthrow Borodin.

To overthrow Tsui Him and Tang Yin Tat,

the leaders of the Communists.

To support Commander-in-Chief Chang and

President Wong for the successful

uniting of the whole country.
