revolutionary work, but also to investigate the system by
which the Imperialists have oppressed us. We must therefore
welcome them with all enthusiasm.
You representatives have a most important mission, and you will surely retum and report on your investigations so that all countries may be enlightened and stirred to oppose
the armed intervention of the Imperialists in China and
assist China in her revolution.
We are indeed exceptionally lad to welcome you representatives on this account, and we are most grateful to you. This gathering of the Provincial Branch of the Kuomintang, the Provincial Government, and the representatives of all peasants, workmen, merchants, students, and soldiers here is to show how enthusiastically and devotedly we support the Revolution. All classes of our people are unanimous in their purpose to achieve the revolution. We want to overthrow Imperialism and to press on the accomplishment of our national revolution. We have the most sincere pleasure now in welcoming you international Labour Representatives, and tender you our most cordial greetings.

the Provincial Branch of the Kuomintang.
We are now, gentlemen, holding a conference here with representative of all classes in Kwongtung, the Provincial Branch of the Kuomintang, and the Provincial Government to welcome the International Labour Delegation and the Delegates
of the 3rd International.
What is the object of this welcome conference we are holding today? It is to put before ourselves more clearly the objects both of our National Revolution and of the world revolution. We know that our National Revolution has as one of its objects the union of all oppressed races and
