the present strength of our Revolutionary Ann, is far inferior to that of the Imperialist Powers, and that the resumption of the concessions at present would be too extreme an action to take. Should we have to re sort to military force against the Imperialist Powers, could we be certain of a victory over them? But in reality we have no need to be anxious about this, Why? As I have just mentioned the real enemies of China are the International Imperialists, and in our present struggle it clearly emerges that on the one side are ranged the International Imperialists and on the other are the Chinese masses and the masses of all oppressed peoples in the world. Though a small clique of militarists is oppressing our Revolutionary Army at the front, they are not our real foes, and indeed can scarcely be considered our foes at all, since then they have been brought to their senses, they will be glad to join us and show a solid front against the Imperialists. Our real enemies are the Imperialists who stand behind them. The Kuomintang in its revolutionary work based on the "Three Democratic Principles" is convinced that the strength of our masses is gigantic and unrivalled, and their principles which have as their object the promotion of the welfare of our people, will prove invincible. Though the course of history shows how powerful and deeply-rooted is the influence of Imperialists, yet they will be defeated in the long run, if they attempt to fight with our revolutionary masses. aiming principally at the economic victimisation of our Chinese race. This has been the end of all their schemes; anything which was not to their economic benefit they would consider not worth while. look at what happened at Hankow. They have more than ten gun-boats at Hankow, yet why have they not dared go ashore and retake the concession? Because they
