Wong Fu and Wong Ching Ting have all the time been supporters of the Northern Militarists and allies of Imperialists. For a long time their actions have in- fringed the Constitution of our Party. But despite

all this pro-Chang attitude, they have still been

allowed to remain members of the Kuomintang, and more-

over it is not unlikely that they will be given a position in the Government. We beg that you will give

us a detailed explanatioh as to the reason.

I was greatly pleased on perusal of this telegram, for a question put to me bluntly is by far better than suspicion entertained of me behind my back. I have always been of the opinion that trouble in any party generally originates from the failure of a small number of members in the party to express openly any suspicions they may entertain of others, This leads to misunderstanding of the true facts, and the members, misled by rumours among outsiders, finally become as hostile bo one another as water is to fire. If all our members adopt the same attitude towards me as that taken by our comrades at Changsha, it is unlikely that any sus- picions will remain unremoved or any rumour unextinguished.
