President are as unchangeable as natural elements and especially
so during the present stage of the development of our Revolution.
The four policies of our President viz:- (1) Overthrow of Imperial-
ism, (2) Overthrow of Militarism, (3) Alliance with Soviet Russia
(4) Support of the Peasants and Workmen, should never be changed
whatever the situation may be. Therefore in future all of you
d
comrades must unerstand the history, constitutions and principles
of our Kuomintang as clearly as you can read the palms of your own
hands, ever promote the unity of the members of the Kuomintang,
centralize their forces, improve their organization and develop
their propaganda so that our revolutionary work may proper day by
day, and its full accomplishment may finally be secured. This is
the object the members of our Kuomintang should do their utmost to
attain. If on the contrary we neglect the Constitutions, Policies,
and Principles of our Party, and are ignorant of the glorious his- tory of our Kuomintang and of the great achievements in the past
of the Chinese race, and divide our Party into factions with differ-
ent policies, we shall be splitting the influence of our Kuomintang and aiding the success of our enemies. In so doing, we shall not
only be unable to maintain the Chinese Kuomintang the great le-
gacy by our late President, but also our 400,000,000 fellow-country-
men will not be able to survive.

Our members! The Chinese Revolution has for its object
the emancipation of our 400,000,000 fellow-countrymen. I appeal to you comrades that after the inauguration of this Special Kuomintang Department in the Generalissimo's Headquarters you will do your utmost to secure unanimity among the members in working for the realization of our President's principles, and to support and develop the glorious traditions of our Kuomintang. I hope that all of you comrades will work hard to this end, and
more than that I cannot expect you to do.
