hope for personal success; but I am content to leave
my character to the judgment of future generations.
I am indifferent to praise or blame, success or failure.
I desire only to be as Sz Ho Fat of the Ming "ynasty or Man Tin Tseung and Ngok Fei of the reign of Sung.
I beg that all of you will follow me and become as
Luk Sau Fu and loyal followers of our late President.
After all whatever dissension may be caused
by those at the rear, we at the front must continue to
fight to the end against our enemies as before and
refuse to come to any terms with them. Whatever oppression
the Soviet Representative may exercise over us and
whether Soviet Russia will continue to assist our
Revolution or not, we must continue our opposition
against International Imperialism, to the end. We will
continue our fight with all our might at the front as
before, despite lack of funds, and will never give our
enemies the least chance to defeat us. We will work hard
for our Kuomintang and country until we die, and this is
our steadfast resolution.
This is all I have to say today, and there is
nothing more to add. Should anyone be found to dis-
seminate malicious propaganda to the prejudice of our
Revolution, we must treat him as a reactionary or an
enemy. Our only hope is that freedom and equality be
realised for China, and our National Revolution brought
to a successful issue. We must treat

our Revolution as a reactionary, and my last word to
you is to ask you to devote your earnest attention to
the study of my present position.
