of the Ankuochun (Pacification Army) has organised a

Dictatorate in Peking under the guidance of many Imperial- ists who are behind him. We must as the first step against them as soon as possible clear out all our enemies in the

lower basin of the Yangtsze. We hope that our comrades will push on our propaganda work with all their might and advise the masses to put up with any temporary sacrifices they may have to make and obey the resolutions made by the Central Committee, which has no bias towards any particular

party, but has to deal with the situation as a whole, as of course is the proper way for them to proceed. Therefore we must obey and support the Kuomintang and the Kuomintang Government, if we want to show ourselves equal to the

situation.

Now that Kiangsi is enjoying its first period of freedom from the yoke of militarism and cone under the control of the Nationalist Government, there are of course

many things which were sources of hardship to the people to be wiped out. But in the present transitional period the people must put up with their sufferings a little longer and support the Government, so that a thorough and wholesome improvement can be made.

Take the recent money-note trouble for instance. The Government is eager to settle it, but cannot do so unless the proper procedure is followed. Again supposing the merchants ask for a relief from taxation we shall have to

answer them that in this transitional period when no new and good taxes have yet been arranged, the old corrupt taxes cannot be abolished immediately. The proper course for us to take is for all of us to join the revolution, and thus secure a radical and permanent peace. Some time
