A Committee organised for the Control of the

Report by General Ho as regards his Despatch of

Troops to maintain order in the British Concession.

(From Chung Wa She News Agency)

British Concession to maintain order and a Committee

for the Control of the British Concession was organised.

Chiu Ki, Chow Yung Nang and others were appointed thereto,

and Chow Yung Nang became chairman as nominated by the

Provisional Joint Conference. The Committee is now

located in the British Municipal Council, and the British

Consulate has also been put under the protection of

revolutionary troops. The British Consul has fled to a

British gun-boat. At present at order has been completely

restored in the Concession and all Japanese, Americans,

French, and other foreigners have been given passports by

the Committee, so as to enable them to leave and enter the

concession freely. All public notice boards in the

Concession are full of revolutionary watch-words.

The British Concession which was once ghostly and gloomy

and others that they should live on in peace as usual,
