On this day Chan Shu Yan also made on invitation a statement of policy, announcing that the Government would always support the Peasants and Workmen Policy and the struggle of the peasants and workmen. (1) The All Hong Kong Labour Association shall be the authority for the general direction of all labour associat- ions in Hong Kong, and all labour associations there shall observe any order that may be given by it. The All Hong Kong Labour Association shall issue forthwith certificates to all

the representatives of various Associations.

(2) Application shall be made with the influential support of the workmen for the reinstatement of all Labour Associations in Hong Kong that were closed during the strike. In case of any opposition on the part of the Hong Kong Government, adequate steps shall be taken under the direction of the All Hong Kong Labour Association.

(3) All the representatives on their return to Hong Kọng, shall be responsible for propaganda work, and shall preach to the workmen from time to time so as to secure their

adherence in our fight against Imperialism.

After these 3 resolutions had been passed, Fung King, Member of the Labour Committee, addressed the meeting saying
