Association in Hong Kong itself and to extend its influence.
We will support the All Hong Kong Labour Association in any
strike movement that may be promoted in future, and will do
our utmost to secure the removal of the Association to that
place to exercise its functions there.
On the 7th the Hong Kong representatives were
invited to inspect the Labour Corps at Tung Yuen (East
Garden), and Ho, Assistant Head of the Strike Commission,
made a speech, warning them". Now we must all be prepared
to be unanimous in our movement to get back Hong Kong and to
overthrow British Imperialism. We must work hard in co-
operation with the Hong Kong representatives".
Then Wong Kam Yuen said "Now you representatives
have all realised that we must press forward and fight
vigorously in our revolutionary enterprise, and are very
willing to lead the van. When we have Hong Kong in a death grip, the work done by the Hong Kong workmen will be greater
than what we have done. This is the important object for
which we have welcomed you representatives to-day. We should cry out loudly - "Let the Hong Kong workmen rise in a body:
Strike down England: and Take back Hong Kong". And in response the meeting cried it out loudly.
Li Sham replied and said "Hereafter we will be
firmly combined to overthrow England and restore Hong Kong. Any of the schemes we have arranged, will enable us to crush
the life out of Hong Kong.
The Social Meeting was held in the evening of the 7th and had for its object the publication of what had been
done during the strike, such as their success in connection. with economics, politics and education and the brave work of the pickets, in order that all the Hong Kong representatives would understand the position and preach it to the workmen
