the chance, he will be neglecting his duty. We should get up at once when the bugle calls to get up; and go for our meals when the bugle calls to meals. We should work for a definite number of hours in the forenoon and the
afternoon, and attend office punctually. When we get up, we must arrange our work for the day and report what we did in the previous one. We must keep ourselves in health and improve our stamina, and should by no means be lazy and indolent. We must do our work attentively according to office hours. When we have one thing in hand, we should concentrate on it, and should on no account divert our attention to other things before it is finished. If we can work like this, we shall be fulfill- ing our duty, doing our work, exerting ourselves and putting our backs into it. Loyalty and duty will be respected if we are not lazy or indolent in our ordinary tasks. This is what a man should do as a matter of
course, and there is nothing difficult about it.
