Price steadily falling. Market weak owing to

approach of Chinese New Year.

Market steady. Although good harvests are

reported from Siam and Annam there is such a

strong demand from foreign countries (other than China i.e.) that the market for the new crop is

firm. Approach of Chinese New Year makes exports

(to China) small.
