The general situation along the frontiers land and

remains unchanged. Trade in local produce and in
local industrial products has almost reached pre-strike
level. As an indication of the volume of frontier trade
now being carried on the following list shows the value of
produce and goods entering Un Long from Chinese Territory
during the past week:-

On both the land and water frontiers the situation in
general remains unchanged.
The European Officer in Charge of the Chinese Customs
Office, Kowloon, informed me yesterday that during the past
week a few small consignments of British and Japanese piece
goods went up by train to Sham Chun.
