The Belilios School Journal.

No. 1.

JULY

1927.

Editorial.

Although the photograph at the beginning of this volume includes that of the Headmistress it is a matter of regret to us that the first number of the Belilios Journal should make its appearance while Miss Skinner is on leave, since its existence is due to her inspiration. She will, however, receive a copy, and with it we send her our best wishes for health and happiness during her leave. We must not fail to thank Miss Newsholme, our Acting Head, for the help and encouragement she has given in the production of this magazine; they have been invaluable. The Editor herself hopes that the Journal will grow larger and more varied in scope as time goes on, and that when we have achieved most of what we want for Belilios, there will be almost a plethora of good things to put into it. In the meantime it will give us a record of school days and bring back memories of pleasant happenings and busy hours.
