Minister at Tehran covering a

Memorandum in regard to Nemazi's

activities during the past year, and

the Notes of a conversation between

His Majesty's Consul, Shiraz, and

Nemazi's second son.

It would appear from these

documents that the amendment of the

H.K. Opium Ordinance in 1924, and the

promulgation of the King's Regulations

for the control of the carriage of opium

from the Persian Gulf in British Ships

have, to a considerable extent achieved

their object in restricting the oppor-

tunities of this firm to carry on their

traffic
