litary Lands Account.
With reference to the Statement of Account between the War Department and the Colonial Government, enclosed in your letter No.1 in 7184/05 of the 15th instant:)
I. I have the honour to draw your attention to the fact that the Land known as the Kowloon Peak Barrack Site- (Item 32 in the account) has never been transferred to the War Department and to add that as far as I am aware the War Department no longer wish to acquire it.
2. In these circumstances I think that the credit of $160,350.00 to the Colonial Government must have been entered in error.
