We have received reliable information that the English branch of Kuo Min Tang, in addition to helping Chinese in England, are endeavouring" to link up with the British Socialist Party for world-wide revolution" According to WANG JO I, chairman of the Committee of Euo Min Tang in Berlin, the Society (presumably German) for helping the strike at Shanghai has held over 200 meetings at which members of the Tang spoke. A meeting held in commemoration of Sun Yat Sen was attended by a strange medley of representatives of Persia, North Africa, German Socialist Party, Nationalist Party, Labour Party, France, German Studente, Alliance for Assisting Oppressed Nations, West Africa, Russian Students, German Red Army, Mongolia, Russian Embassy, Turkey, Annam, Siam, India, America and other countries. A common hatred of England seems to have been the link between these elements. The meeting supported opposition to Germany's adhering to the Washington Treaties and distributed 2000 tracts, "bringing in the stranglehold of Imperial England on Kwangtung and its measures against the National (Canton) Government".

There are indications that WANG JO I has tried to get the Workers' International Relief here to arrange a conference with Chinese Associations in London, in order to raise funds for the Canton strikers. We have not yet observed that anything has come of this suggestion.

Yours sincerely,
