With reference to previous corespondence
relating to the Canton strike and boycott, I mzi
directed by Hr.Secretary Amery to transnit to you,
for the information of the Air Vouncil a copy of
a Colonial Office print containing a selection of
despatches from the Governor of Hong Kong reporting
on the situation during the period 30th October 1925
to 29th April 1926.

I am to invite attention particularly to the
despatch from Sir R.E.Stubba dated the 30th October
1925, submitting his final report on relinquishing the
Governorship of liong Kong,and to the memorandum by
Dr.R.H.Kotowall, a Chinese member of the Legislative
Council, which he enclosed.

A further batch of despatches from the
Governor is being printed, and it is proposed also to
A SECRETARY,
AIR MINISTRY.
