THE HONG-KONG BOYCOTT,

HONG-KONG, JULY 23,
An official communiqué states that the Canton delegates have demanded that three of their conditious for the settlement of the boycott of Hong-kong shall be immediately accepted, and have proposed the appointment of referees to settle the others.
The Hong-kong delegates have declined to enter into any undertaking involving the payment to the strikers, but have agreed to permit the flotation of a loan in Hong- kong for the development of Whampoa Canton- [Canton] provided that the Hankow railway is also completed, or undertaken alternative enterprises are such as branch railways to Bias Bay or to Swatow. The conference has adjourned in order to permit the delegations to con- sult their respective Governments.
