still necessary to insist on the production of certificates in the case of aeroplanes other than french, or whether such certificates may be dispensed with, in which event all aeroplanes described as commercial by exporters could be allowed to proceed to China. There is also the further question whether any modification is to be made in the method of deal in; with French aeroplanes which do not at present need to In be described, still less certified, as commercial. practice, all aeroplanes exported to China, whether of a commercial type or not, are intended, and are used, for military purposes. Fonding a revision of the China Arms Jabargo policy, Mr. Amery would be glad to receive an elucidation of the above-mentioned points.
