Financial situation
in Hong Kong at the Chinese New Year was very satis-
factory Chinese shops and banks have all resumed
business efforts of Canton strike Committee to start
new strike failed completely. Trade loan advanced
local dollars 11,600,000 anticipate no immediate
probability of expending the whole £3,000,000.
