for by local legislation.
(1)

The Governor in Council may by arrange-
ment with the Admiralty or otherwise provide, maintain and use a vessel or vessels of war, subject to such conditions and for such purposes as His Majesty in Council may approve.
(2) The Governor in Council may raise and maintain Seemen and others entered on terms of being bound to general Service in the Royal Navy in emergency and to serve as ordered in any
such vessal.

The Governor in Council may offer to
place at His Majesty's disposal any vessel of
war provided by the Colony and the Officers and
men from time to time serving therein.
(1) The Governor in Council may raise and
maintain a body of volunteers to be entered on
tems of being bound to general Service in the
Royal Navy in emergency and to serve as ordered
in any vessel of war provided, maintained and
used by the Colony.
(2) The body of volunteers shall form part
of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve constituted
under the Kaval Forces Aot, 1903, and shall,
together with the officers referred to in sub-
section 3 of this section and the seamen and
others referred to in section 1, subsection 2,
be designated the Hong Kong Royal Naval
Volunteer Reserve.
(3) The Governor in Council may make arrange-
ments with the Admiralty to obtain the services
