URGENT
Please ask Sir Shauson Chow and Mr. Kotevall to
request the Government not to relax its policy against
Bolshevism in South China, and also secure financial
assistance from merchants in Hong Kong. Our strength
is increasing for the purpose of re-attacking the enemy. We have received good news from the Jest of Hupeh. Yang Taz-wei (Tang Sen) is fighting with 40,000 men while Fengtien and Shantung are sending 100,000 men to assist Kiangsu. Orders for mobilisation have been issued. It should not how be difficult to regain the places
around the Yangtsze.
