(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) HONG-KONG, Nov. 15.
The Chinese who formerly chartered and worked the British river steamers have again taken up contracts, dismissed the emergency crews, and reinstated the strikers, with the result that picketing has ceased. It is not yet certain whether British goods will enjoy free movement, The departure of the Commission appointed to proceed to Hankow for the reported purpose of arranging for the administration of the new territories now under the control of the Cantonese has been postponed for a week.
