Telegram from Chau Tam Yan.
Chau Yam Yan, military governor of ħukien, on receipt of a telegram from Sun Chun Fong appointing him Commander in Chief of the 4th Army, marched south from Fukien on the 15th September. He has issued a telegram, which reads as follows:-
"Tseung Kai Shek has invaded our territory. I have been instructed to march my troops down to the south today with a view to the removal of the traitors for the good of China. I will not hesitate to expel all the courses of our country, and I send this special telegram for your information
and consideration.
