Meamhile I had received other instructions from the v.S.P.

(K), the gist of which was that a special train with a detachment of the Surrey Regiment was coming out to Lou,that the train was to

leave Kowloon at 12.40,that I was to join this train at raipo Market, and that i was to arrange for a strong detachment of police and 2 Lewis Gms to proceed in the same train to Lowu.
