Two main lines in the Eastern region:-

(a) From Cheung fuk Tau to Wai-chdw City, 95 Li,i.e.

108,000 feet; from Ping Shan to Pak Wan, 3ô Li, i.e.

39,000 feet. Proper survey has been made on this line,

and construction has been in hand. The section between Wai-

chow and Ping Shan is ready for service, only 1 bridge

having not been built. On the section between Wai-chow

and Cheung uk Tau, 5 bridges are still left un-constructed,
