With reference to paragraph 5 of my secret
despatch dated 26th May, I have the honour to forward
-copies of a translation of a Chinese letter which gives
an outline of proposed railways in the eastern part of Kwong
Tung Province. The information is derived from a man who is
said to be now in Amoy and was handed to this Government by
a Mr. Li Shek- seung who is reported to have been in touch
with promoters of Railway projects in Kwong Tung.
