Enclosure 16.

152

(Extract from the Taj Kwong Yat Pe Hongkong, 29th and 31st December, 1926, 4th and 6th January, 1926),

Breech by Tong Tsing sai on welcome of the

Fraternity Party by the awok Man Tong.

Meanwhile Mr. Sun realised that the militarists were untrustworthy. Therefore he sought to build another foundation for revolutionary enterprises. He re-organised the Kwok Man Tong of China and established the Military Cadets college, in order that some real revolutionists may be trained for the expulsion in future of those brutal soldiers and wicked generals who are openly or covertly alien to the revoduntionary cause,

Another sort of rumour against us is about our unien with Russia. We must realise that our union with Russia is a fact. To must read have only to ask Mr. Sun why we should unție with Russia. It is because Russia has abolished all the unequal treaties. Soviet Russia after her revolution, already had a desire to abolish all the un@qual treaties which bound upon Ching, and in the 13th year of the Republic (1924) karakhan was sent and a Sino-Russian Agreement was made, nullifying all the unequal treaties made between the ex-Csar and China. Since she has treated us with @quality, why should we fail to work with her hand in hand?

Since the Powers have not treated us with @quality

how can we speak of friendship with them ? Russia has treated us with equality, and why should we fail to treat her as our friend ? The reason is simple and clear.

Now let me tell you why so many of our Russian members have come to Kwong Tung to help us in our revolution! We have invited Mr. Borodin as our Chief Advisor, and he attends the meetings of the Political Committee, where he has made all suggestions he knew, without meerte.
