GENERAL CHANG KAI-SHIH'S ADDRESS

At Dinner Party Given By The Nationalist Government On the Evening of Jauuary 4.

RUSSIAN COMRADES-

"If we do not follow this implicitly, there will no success. During the past two years our Russian Comrades have rendered us great help. The most noticeable example is their law-abiding propensities and obedience to orders. They have order and or- ganisation in every undertaking. If we can imitate them, then our troops can compete with the Red Army, and Canton can be com pared to Moscow. The only thing for us to do now is to cooperate' with each other and put our heart and soul into our work in. eradicating all the old and corrupt custorns of the military. We must do this before we can be called the followers of our late Dr. Sun, and the comrades of our martyrs, and be worthy of the help of our Russian Comrades.
