7. The roads in Shameen shall not be used as a tho-
roughfare from bridge to bridge or from landing steps to the City.

8. To avoid interfering with free movement of pedea-
trians, carriers of loads shall as far as possible use the
Back Bund turning to their destinations by the nearest
cross road there to and using as far as possible the West-
ern side.
9.- Bicycles shall as far as possible keep to the South road of the Central Avenue turning to destinations by the
nearest cross road thereto.
10.- Pedestrians shall use either the Second road or
the North road of Central Avenue.
11. Persons are not allowed to walk on the grass unless that allotted to recreational purposes. The grass must not be used to circumvent obstructions caused by building.
12. Up to 5.30 p.m. in summer and 4 p.m. in winter amahs with residents' children are nermitted to use the seats on the Bund, but after that time they may do so only when with a grown member of the family.
13. Servants with parcels leaving or entering the gates are liable to be stooped for the purpose of examining
parcels.
14.- After 9 p.m. none but foreign residents and visi- tors are allowed to enter of leave Shemeen without the police permit. Others when employed by and accompanying the above will be allowed to pass.
15. Persons having no right to reside in Shameen are not entitled to land at the steps or jetties unless on business or on invitation. Such individuals should there- fore proceed direct by the shortest route to their desti- nations observing the rules of the road given above.
16. Landing may not be made at places other than land-
